Sacred Valley Inn is highly recommended in many Nepal guidebooks and we are always happy to see our guests returning year after year to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of this area. It has also been a winner on Trip Advisor since 2012 and has been awarded the best budget hotel in Pokhara in their annual poll every year since then. We are very proud to mention that we were once again awarded “Best Hotel in Budget category’ for 2016.
The hotel is simple, clean and comfortable accommodation and furnished with local textiles. There is an excellent in house restaurant that serves delicious breakfasts and other meals and some pretty wonderful cakes too! There is a laundry service available also. We can help with any travel and trekking arrangements too and we are always happy to share our personal favourite recommendations about other place to visit in Nepal.
The Sacred Valley Inn is a long established traveller’s favourite located in Lakeside, Pokhara situated close to Lake Fewa and surrounded by the mighty Annapurna range and the middle hills of Nepal. Pokhara is an ideal place to sit and recharge your batteries after a trek or even just to enjoy nature after the chaos of Kathmandu.
All rooms are bright and airy and have a bathroom with hot water. Plus there are fans in the summer and the option of heaters at an extra cost in the colder months. The top floor rooms have rooftop views and those on the middle floor have balconies.
We offer single rooms in our hotel during high season for US$15, $20 and US$30 (tax all included) depending on which floor they choose to stay on. Prices are reduced in the off season.
Pokhara is a safe area in Nepal. The hotel is a very safe building only consisting of three floors.
Why is it solo female friendly?
In particular we are popular with solo female travelers who feel this is a place they can relax and feel secure. We are also able to send them off trekking with experienced, reliable guides who are used to trekking with single women and who know how to be respectful and professional at all times but still be great company and offer them an unforgettable experience trekking in the Himalayas.
Why we love it!
Because the emphasis is less on having all the mod cons and tvs in rooms but more about communal balconies and rooftop where women can meet and swop stories although there are plenty of nooks for those that want solitude. You can stay in a friendly ambience surrounded by lovely greenery of the garden.
