Types of Girl about the Globes – Festival GatG, Party GatG
Don’t let being solo stop you from enjoying a festival but experiencing one of Europe’s festivals and events is always going to be better with company. That’s where PP Travel comes in.
PP Travel, standing for “Party Professionals” PP Travel have been organising festival tours for more than 25 years and guarantees that you will meet like-minded others and have plenty of fun at any one of Europe’s biggest parties.
Throw tomatoes at strangers (who will soon become your friends) at La Tomatina, the world’s largest food fight. Head to Bunol near Valencia for a messy food fight in August, or get covered in wine in Haro in Spain instead. The Haro Wine Fight takes place in June and is a Spanish fiesta like no other. Choose from a camping package or upgrade to a bungalow tour if you’re not a camping Girl about the Globe.
Camping packages are twin share or you can pay extra for your own tent. All tents come with air mattresses so you don’t have to take your own, and you get a continental breakfast too.
The most famous event has to be the PP Travel Oktoberfest. This world-famous beer festival is held in Munich in September with live music and plenty of German beer to swill. You can camp, go glamping, or stay in a hostel dorm. There is also the option to stay in a hotel just a short walk from Oktoberfest. And if you don’t want to make your own way to Germany, PP Travel offers a return coach all the way from London.
Being an Aussie and Kiwi owned company they also offer trips for Anzac Day at Anzac Cove in 2020. Choose from a 2 day or 4-day tour including a guided tour of Anzac Cove, North Beach, Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair. The trip takes you through Gallipoli Peninsula tour including Cape Helles and the Turkish memorial, and to the memorial services.
Whether you want to go to Oktoberfest in Munich, throw tomatoes at La Tomatina in Spain, or spend a day at Royal Ascot, PP Travel can arrange the biggest festivals with a variety of accommodations to suit your comfort level. Tours include accommodation, breakfasts, and travel to the venues.
PP Travel Reviews
“Fantastic travel tour company. Having just finished the 4 days, 2018 ANZAC tour I have nothing but the best to say about PP Travel. From the very outset Mark, Bomber and Shane made you feel like it was a group of friends, rather than a tour. But this did not distract them from sharing their immense knowledge about Gallipoli built up over the years.
Unlike other tours, PP took the time and effort to visit other sites on the peninsula to give a proper understanding of the campaign. They also introduced Istanbul with Turkish baths and a city tour. Great to meet you guys, thanks for putting up with me, and providing an experience that will always stay with me.” – Rachel Kain
