When entering Mumbai International Airport there is a sign that asks for any feedback or suggestions on improvements within the airport. Maybe I should recommend that the Immigration Officer could actually be awake upon my arrival at his counter. I had to wake him up to stamp me into the country!
I'm back in a crazy city to honking cars. It's barely a year since I trod foot in this country and coming back feels so familiar. The smell of curry and spices fill the air, shanty houses line the motorway and sellers wander amongst the stopping traffic.
Yet it is so different to Delhi.
There are no cows walking in the road, people actually adhere to traffic signals and the architecture resembles that of England (many buildings are still from British rule).
Namaste Mumbai…
