About Ecomama Hotel
Ecomama Hotel is Amsterdam's first boutique hostel with a funky industrial interior. It has all the comfort and luxury of a hotel yet it is easily affordable. Eco-consciousness plays a big part in this hostel and is found in all the details from the green roof to the water saving system. Even corkscrews and teddybears are recycled and used in the furniture to create unique pieces.
Location
Ecomama is near the museum and university neighbourhood. Ecomama is right next door to a daily market at Waterlooplein so you can buy fresh and cheap groceries to cook in the hotel's kitchen. Plus you can pick up some unique items at the flea market too.
Safety
The dorm rooms contain large luggage lockers which can be locked with a padlock to hide your valuables. They also sell padlocks at reception if you don’t have your own.

There’s a reason that the dorm room is all pink as there are no boys allowed in the ladies-only dorm. In total, Ecomama has 7 types of rooms for those on a shoestring budget to those looking for the privacy of a deluxe room for one.
