Why Motorbike in The Canaries?

Gran Canaria is one of the largest islands and offers breathtaking views, especially from the highest point. The landscape is so varied with spectacular nature such as sand dunes, rock cliffs and waterfalls, along the routes and never-ending curves to practice your bike skills. The fact that there’s not much traffic adds to this island’s appeal for biking.

Operating in Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro, motorbike hire or even taking one of their motorcycle holidays are the best way to see these Spanish islands.

Having been to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, La Palma, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, it's easy to why people choose these islands for motorbiking. The landscape in each one differs from sand dunes to volcanoes and then rock cliffs. Each island with its ocean view and some also with forests and waterfalls.

Canary Ride also offers guided motorcycle tours which are tailor-made with group leaders and planned routes. They also suggest the best places to try some of the island’s local cuisine. Canary Ride can arrange your whole trip for you including accommodation (apartments, 5-star hotels or a rural house), and flights. Rent your own bike or book a private tour.

Canary Ride Reviews

“Perfect day! The owner, Ondrej, is all about customer service and he is a highly experienced driver plus a great guy! Even after being on a bike the first time after over 12(!) years, he made me feel safe at all times, adapting pace and routes accordingly. He knows the island with its most beautiful spots very well and speaks very good english, spanish and czech (did I forget any language?).

I highly recommend you check him out if you're in the area and want to have an unforgettable motorcycle experience! He will also help you with lending gear, booking your flights, accommodation, recommend great spots around the island etc. He is a true gem.“ – Silke, Netherlands.
