Black Friday Travel Deals 2021
It’s that time of year again when we all rush to the Black Friday sales. If you are planning on travelling at the end of this year or even for 2022, here are the best travel deals that I’ve found to help you save on your solo trip.

Booking.com – Save Up To 30%
Booking.com is my favourite accommodation booking site. You can work your way up the Genius levels and receive benefits each time that you book. This easy-to-use platform lists hostels, hotels, apartments and eco-accommodation. For Black Friday, they’re offering up to 30% off stays between November and 30th June 2022. Book before 1st December 2021 to get the discounted rate.
Expedia – Save 30% off
Expedia has a member-only Black Friday sale. It’s free to join and you can save 30% off thousands of hotels when you book by 29th November 2021. Travel between now and 30th April 2022 to qualify. Choose from a hotel in Paris, London, Barcelona or Istanbul. They have hotels around the world.
Hostelworld – Up to 55% off
If you love travelling solo on a budget and meeting others, hostels are a great choice. From 19th November until 30th November, Hostelworld has more than 300 hostels offering savings of up to 55%. Choose from Madrid, Prague, Budapest, Barcelona, Cancun, Rio or Lisbon to name just a few.
Last Minute.com – Save money
Last Minute doesn’t have a specific Black Friday deal as offering last-minute deals is what they are known for. If you’re looking for discounted holidays to the USA, Spain, Turkey, Egypt or worldwide, their platform can help you to find cheaper getaways whether it’s a flight and hotel package that you need or just a last-minute hotel. I used them during my trip to Madeira and saved a lot on my hotels.
Blinkist – 50% off
Blinkist is an award-winning learning app where you can learn the key insights from bestselling nonfiction books. They have over 3,000 titles to read and listen to and are offering 50% off a Blinkist yearly subscription. Instead of £59.99, signing up for a year will only cost you £29.99. This includes a free 7-day trial to see if this is right for you.
Headspace – 62% off
For this looking to meditate and keep balanced before or during travel, Headspace is a meditation app that I regularly use. They currently have their biggest saving of the year for Black Friday. You can save 62% off a monthly subscription and 50% off annual subscriptions.
i-to-i – Save up to 65% off
If you're planning on teaching English abroad and searching for a TEFL course to help you to do it, i-to-i are offering up to 65% off their TEFL courses. The offer ends on Friday 19th November 2021. I have personally taken one of their courses and you can read my review here.
Get Your Guide – 10% off
Get Your Guide is offering visitors 10% off when they download their app. They have worldwide day tours for every type of solo whether you are planning on seeing the views from the Eiffel Tower in Paris or visiting the floating market in Bangkok. Use the ‘APP10’ promotion code to get the discount.
Omio – 5% off
Omio is a platform to find trains and buses within Europe. From 25th November to 29th November you can save 5% off all modes of transport. The maximum discount you can receive is 150 Euros. Use the code: OmioBF2021 to get the 5% discount.
Contiki – Save up to 20% off
If you’re aged 18 to 35 years old and are looking for a fun trip, check out Contiki. As a worldwide leader in group travel, they offer group trips to Europe, Asia, New Zealand and many more. Save up to 20% off selected trips sitewide for the end of 2021 and 2022.
G Adventures – Save 30% off
I love this sustainable travel company that has its own foundation. From now until 3rd December 2021 you can save up to 30% on a large number of their most popular tours across the world. Go island hopping in Thailand, sail around Greece or see Machu Picchu in Peru plus many more.

Amazon.com – Black Friday Sale
Amazon have launched its Black Friday Sale with new deals being announced every day. Search the site for anything that you usually buy from Amazon. It’s also a good opportunity to buy travel products and Christmas presents too!
Ivory Ella – 40% off
If you want to buy a funky t-shirt and help wildlife at the same time, Ivory Ella is an online clothing store affiliated with Save the Elephants. They donate 10% of the profits of all clothing and accessories. Choose from long-sleeved pink t-shirts, tie-dye hoodies and cosy sherpas. They even have recycled leggings in their clothes for a cause. Their Black Friday special is 40% off sitewide until 28th November 2021.
LastObject – Green November
Instead of Black Friday, Last Object is saying hello to GREEN NOVEMBER. For every purchase in November, they pledge to remove 1kg (2 lbs) of plastic waste from our oceans. Just buy any of their sustainable products from a reusable cotton swab, tissue, facial pads or mask and spray to be part of their initiative.
Loom Footwear – 60% off
I’ve been wearing these shoes non-stop because they are so comfortable and easy to clean. At the moment Loom has an early Black Friday sale offering 60% off their vegan, waterproof walking shoes including free shipping (for specific countries).
Osprey Bags – Up to 40% off
If you’re on the search for a backpack for travelling or just a hiking trip on the weekends, Osprey are offering up to 40% off selected products from now until 29th November. Patagonia – Sales
Patagonia supports Grassroots organisations to find solutions to the environmental crisis. At the moment they have discounts on several of their products so you can save £44 off a M’s Nano-Air hoody or hoody pullover. Their Waste not collection are re-crafted clothes made from other clothes so you’re doing your bit for the environment too. As well as these fleece pullovers they also offer merino socks, jackets, base layers and so much more…

SiteGround – Save Up to 75% off
